	July 2009 Edition CHA = Prize Time! Thinking Christmas in July? We are! Opening the Treasure Chest Are You MM's Next Superstar?

	CHA = Prize Time! We're headed out the door to the 2009 Summer Craft and Hobby Show in Orlando, and we'd love each and every one of you to join us. Now, since we don't have enough passes for everyone, at least you can join us here as we reveal the new collections we're introducing at the Show. Follow us this week on Facebook, on Twitter, and of course on our blog, where we'll move from "sneak previews" into full-fledged "reveals." We'll show you new collections, new tools, and of course plenty of new treats to make your Slice more powerful than ever! Plus we'll be giving away loads of these very same new products during the Show, so please stay with us throughout the event July 28 through the 30th. It's gonna be a party!!
	Thinking Christmas in July? We are! We're still in catch-up mode (aren't we always, though?) and right now, we're thinking about holidays. Yes, it's cliche - Christmas in July. But now we've got a great reason to give those fabulous holiday photos a home: it's our new Mistletoe program, which we will reveal in full this week through our blog. Mistletoe reaches beyond scrapbooking and into holiday card making and home décor with die-cut, flocked, and foil-topped cardstock; coordinating card-making pad and envelopes; plus embellishments - each a modern interpretation of Currier and Ives - include chipboard buttons, leaves and blossoms, ribbon and trims, frames; and a wide array of adhesive and rub-on alphabet and word options. 	Opening the Treasure Chest Since we're about to introduce a huge assortment of new treats, perhaps this is time to start making room for what's to come. Shake off your favorite vintage Making Memories designs and put them to good use on your current projects, so you can make room for the brand-new Vintage Findings collection. Vintage Findings is our latest contribution to crafters who cherish antiques, but are unwilling to sacrifice such treasures for craft's sake. In addition to gorgeous papers and cardstock infused with faded, dyed, foiled and hand-painted effects, the utterly unique Vintage Findings trove delivers metal accents such as clock faces; pill and tin boxes; "Garment" and other metal and pearl-topped pins; metallic-finish buttons; and other metallic-embossed ephemera. Soft embellishments in the line range from velvet flowers and mini blossoms, to trims in both warm and cool color palettes. 	Are You MM's Next Superstar? As much as we love to provide inspiration, we know that you have just as many fabulous ideas to share with us and with the world! Now there's a great forum to showcase your beautiful work, and help inspire others as well. Visit our newly updated Idea Gallery to see hundreds of fabulous layouts and craft projects submitted by designers just like you. And then take a moment to upload and share your own creations.
