	LUCKY 08-08-08 FOR 8! Sure, the Olympic opening ceremonies were a big deal, but you know where the REAL excitement was on 08-08-08? Right on the Making Memories blog, where we gave away EIGHT Slice Cordless Design Cutters. 	Sensory Overload We've all been there. That moment where we catch a whiff of something that catapults us back in time. If only we could bottle up the senses and capture the memories that go along with them. Well, we'll do our best this month with the help of our innovative Designer Challenge. Joey Whittaker's inspiration for this challenge started in the shower. "I grabbed a shower gel and lotion that I haven't used for years - just for something new to use, and I found myself wrapped up in a memory of new motherhood and tiny babies and a tiredness that seeped to my bones." Visit our blog every Thursday this month and watch how our designers capture their sensory memories about sights, smells, tastes and more, transforming them into cherished events to be shared.
	IT'S WENDY SUE'S BIRTHDAY, BUT YOU GET THE GIFT Wendy Sue Anderson has been designing for Making Memories nearly since our birth. So it seems appropriate that on this, the week of HER birthday, we take a moment to thank Wendy for all of her work and to shout out a special birthday greeting to her. As many of you know, Wendy Sue is one of our most- talked-about designers. Her skills are nothing short of extraordinary, which is even more astounding when you see just how busy her life really is. (One quick visit to her blog and you know what we're talking about!)
