What we LOVE!
You have to admit it, there are things that you just love or are obsessed with. We know how you feel! So in this spirit, we asked five employees to talk up their current obsessions.
It's no surprise that Gail, who is the Creative Director over publications said, "my current obsession is beautiful, perfect, gorgeous packaging and graphics. I find it in the most random places - like convenience stores - and on the most common products. You'd be amazed to learn how much beauty you can find in a simple water bottle!"
Product manager Danielle loves graphic t- shirts with screen print logos, embroidered details and lots of color. She's obsessed with them because they are a comfortable, summer essential; not surprisingly she has lots of them to prove it!
Jodi, who is Making Memories' consumer show manager, can't seem to get enough jewelry. (Well, and who can blame her?) During a recent shopping spree, she purchased a necklace made out of, get this: an industrial chain! Her co-workers may not always appreciate her purchases, but they are hard to resist when she pairs them with the perfect matching outfit.
Audre, a product designer here, loves to read. The evidence? She reads two books a week! "I just finished one of the best books I have ever read called "The Book Thief" by Markus Zusak. It's touching, funny, and truly heart breaking and I recommend it to EVERYONE!"
And then there's dear ol' Colin. He loves cured Italian deli meats, ninjas, people who wear bunny costumes, video games from before 1992, pushups (he can do 50), welding, bicycle messengers, small boat sailing, Swiss Army Knives, Model Rocketry, First Aid, and Archery. Colin's eclectic (or would that be "bizarre?") taste keeps him on top of his graphic design duties here. Oh yea, and his laugh is a crack up - it's down right contagious!

Polka Dot Prize
We're obsessed. Fortunately when it's channeled properly, obsession can be a good thing. This season, we can't get enough of Polka Dots. Everywhere we turn, polka dots are popping up in apparel, on shoes, and on handbags too. Someone in our office (with waayyy too much time on her hands) pulled all things polka dot from our 5,500 products and now we see spots everywhere.
This week, we're going to share our obsession with you, providing you share your obsession with us.
