Whether or not anyone knows it, Richard Waters' is probably the most popular man in the company. The reason: his primary responsibility is to help manufacture Making Memories' popular scrapbooking and paper crafting supplies...at an affordable price. Considering the quality standards to which the company adheres, and the volume of products coming through the pipeline every day, this is no small feat. Fortunately, Waters has not only succeeded in sourcing, but has managed to reduce inventory levels and improve on-time deliveries in the process. A popular man, indeed!
Waters has been working in sourcing and procurement for more than ten years, during which time he also has earned a Six Sigma in Green Belt training. Translated: he is uniquely trained to ensure products are manufactured to exacting and high standards, in a profoundly efficient manner. The 1994 University of Utah graduate received his Bachelor in Business Administration, and majored in production and operations management, as well as business finance.
The Boy Scouts of America - another organization known for efficiency - has benefited from Waters' volunteer time for more than nine years where he's Outside the office, he also enjoys fishing, camping, boating, and riding ATVs with his family and friends.
