Making Memories

Darren joined Making Memories in June of 2008 with a background in inventory management, purchasing, and international sourcing. He has worked for several top specialty retailers including American Eagle Outfitters, Abercrombie and Fitch, and DSW in addition to a couple of privately held ventures.

As VP of Operations, Darren oversees the Sourcing, Purchasing, and Planning functions for the company. He has been instrumental in the production efforts around the launch of the Slice and has worked to develop and fine-tune the inventory control methods used by the company.

Darren received his BS in Finance from Brigham Young University. In his spare time he enjoys playing volleyball, writing, and traveling extensively with his wife and kids. His oldest daughter - who is 13 - has already visited more than 25 of the states.
